I had read, and liked,FMF many years ago and just thought again of him recently, so I checked Kindle versions and saw some for free. I didn't know he had written with Joseph Conrad, one of England's best, (even though Polish), so I downloaded this one. It is a really well written romance, pirates and all. I now must find some more of the Ford/Conrad collaborations. And re-read 'The Good Soldier'. FMF must be making a comeback. A man next to me on the plane was reading 'The Good Soldier'. So, to be literary hip, read or re-read Ford Maddox Ford...
