In order to keep busy, she joins the Healthy Living Club where an old foe is now the director. When these two cross paths, Kaye wonders if she’s capable of forgiveness. Will both mother and daughter be able to forgive and move on? Or will their past experiences ruin their chances at happiness?Come back to Gordon, Indiana one last time and see if spring flowers will bloom, or if harsh winters will keep hearts frozen forever
It’s great to return to Gordon, Indiana just in time for the holidays where we find a mother and a daughter getting back to their Hoosier roots. Upon their return home, each discovers new romance. However, the road to romance is found to be a bit rocky as the ladies deal with stubbornness, apprehension, forgiveness, and historic misconceptions – their own and that of the men who have come into their lives in such unexpected fashion. I always enjoy reading about stories from the heartland, and this author does a great job capturing the feel of the area. Although framed in the Midwest, these stories of romance touch hearts regardless of geographic location. The author develops strong characters that capture our attention and make us want to learn more about their lives. I also appreciate the theme of faith that threads its way through the narrative. Although this is the final installment of the Indiana Romance Series, I look forward to more from this writer.
